The American Montessori Society (AMS) is the foremost advocate for quality Montessori education, an innovative, child-centered approach to learning.

Montessori  Schools of Massachusetts 
Montessori Schools of Massachusetts mission is to promote knowledge and understanding of the Montessori methods of education in Massachusetts and to provide a framework for communication and cooperation among Montessori schools within Massachusetts and other New England states between these school and other private and public schools, government agencies and organizations concerned with education.

The North American Montessori Teachers' Association (NAMTA) links Montessorians with their legacy and their future. Its services include print publications, audio visuals, conferences, and research.

Thorton Burgess Society and Museum
The Thornton W. Burgess Society operates the Green Briar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen at 6 Discovery Hill Road (off Route 6A) in East Sandwich that offers natural history programs for children and adults year-round and include classes, field trips, guided walks, and workshops on the natural sciences; in addition to popular nature-related birthday parties.

Heritage Gardens/Hidden Hollows
